Dr. Ashok Kar (1973) is a Clinical Professor of Urology, Univ. of California, Irvine. He was selected to “America’s Top Physicians” for 2003 and 2005 by the Consumer Research Council of America, Washington D.C. He was selected ‘Physician of Excellence’ Orange County, California for 2004 and nominated for ‘Physician of Excellence’ for 2006. Dr. Kar was the First Urologist at St. Joseph Hospital, Orange, to perform Laproscopic surgery. He was also the first urologist in Southern California in a community hospital to perform a Robotic Prostatectomy. He has lectured extensively on Male Infertility and Robotic Surgery in Australia, Korea, Thailand and India.
