A 2 day seminar FORENSIC MOSAIC hosted by Forensic Science Certificate Program, Zoology Department was held on December 16th/17th. The panel comprising of eminent scientists, accomplished criminal lawyers and top brass of the Mumbai Police addressed the audience and fielded questions. They debated how the ignorance of the value of forensic evidence and lack of understanding of legal parlance led to a vicious cycle of limitations that each one was creating for the other and the need to break it by building better awareness and interaction between them.
